Hello, I am Jon Ingersoll, the president of Crawford Hardwoods, LLC. I have been in the hardwood business for 35 years and have extensive experience in all facets of the industry. I have worked in lumber processing, inspection, purchasing for distribution and wholesale, and sales to all types of hardwood users.

My goal at Crawford Hardwoods is to work with high-end hardwood users and high-end hardwood suppliers in order to facilitate hassle-free lumber sourcing for each of my customers. I do not need to become a big company, but I am and will become a quality company where trust is my highest priority.

I work closely with three suppliers, and can wholesale from eight others that I have known for the last twenty-five years. I represent a high-end New Hampshire sawmill that makes beautiful Hard Maple, Red Oak, Yellow Birch and Soft Maple and is FSC Certified. I work very closely with two Pennsylvania sawmills located on the Allegheny Plateau in Northern Pennsylvania. They make the best Cherry and excellent Red Oak, Hard Maple, Soft Maple and Hickory. I also work closely with a large high-end sawmill located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. It specializes in wide and long Poplar, Red Oak and White Oak in all thicknesses. With these sawmills as my focus, I believe I can take care of most Eastern hardwood needs and do it in style.

Crawford Hardwoods issues a periodic industry newsletter that includes articles of interest, updates on new developements and improvements at our suppliers' facilities, and a list of available hardwoods by area. We often provide photographs and videos to help illustrate our descriptions.
